Your first class is created during onboarding when you sign up. From your Teacher Dashboard, click + New Class to create additional classes. Each class gets its own join code and topic assignments.

Setting a Grade Level on a class helps pre-filter topics when you're assigning content, so you're not scrolling through all 300+ topics at once.

Yes. On your Teacher Dashboard, each class card has an Edit button. You can rename the class and change its grade level at any time — changes apply immediately and the join code stays the same.

Yes — use the Duplicate button on any class card. This creates a new class with the same topic assignments and sort order, but with a fresh join code and no students enrolled.

After duplicating you'll be taken straight to a rename screen so you can give the new class its own name before sharing the join code with next year's students.

No — every class gets its own unique join code when it's created, including duplicates. Last year's students can't accidentally join a new class with an old code, and each class's code is guaranteed not to conflict with any other.

Two ways:

• By join code — share the class join code with students. They sign in to quyz.io with Google and enter the code to join automatically.
• By email — go to your class page and enter student email addresses directly. This is useful for younger students or those who need a hand signing in.

From your class page, click Assign Topics. You can filter by subject, grade level, or search by name. Click Assign on any topic to add it to your class — students will see it on their dashboard immediately.

Use the sort order numbers to control the sequence topics appear in for students. You can also toggle the Assigned Only view to manage what's already assigned.

When a student visits a topic for the first time, Quyz uses AI to generate a lesson tailored to that student's profile. The lesson is automatically flagged for your review before it goes live for other students.

Go to Approval Queue from your dashboard to preview and approve lessons. If a lesson isn't right, click Regenerate — Quyz will create a new version.

From a student's page, open the IEP Goals tab to add measurable goals tied to specific subjects. Quyz automatically tracks progress against each goal using the student's lesson completion and quiz scores — no manual data entry needed.

You can print a progress report at any time using the print button on the IEP goals page.

Your class page shows a roster with each student's quiz scores, hints used, and re-reads — at a glance. The topic performance table highlights topics where 50% or more of students scored below 70%, flagged with a "re-teach?" label.

For deeper insights, click a student's name to see AI-generated weekly summaries of their progress.

Sign in to quyz.io with your Google account. If your teacher gave you a join code, you'll see a place to enter it on your dashboard. Once you enter the code, you're in — your class topics will appear right away.

Chunked lessons are broken into short sections that reveal one at a time — good if you get overwhelmed by a wall of text or lose focus easily. You tap through at your own pace.

Linear lessons show everything at once in a flowing format — better if you like reading straight through without interruption. Your teacher sets this default, but they can adjust it for you if needed.

If you score below 70%, Quyz shows you which questions you missed and gives you a link to re-read the lesson. You can retry the quiz as many times as you need — each attempt is a fresh set of questions.

There's no penalty for trying again. Each retry helps you practice and improve your score.

If you're stuck on a quiz question, tap Get a Hint. The AI will give you a nudge without just telling you the answer. Hints are tracked so your teacher can see where students needed extra help — it's not a penalty, it's useful information.

You earn points for completing lessons and passing quizzes. See your full earning history at Dashboard → Points History.

Your streak counts the number of consecutive days you've completed at least one lesson. Keep it going by doing at least one lesson a day.

If a lesson explanation isn't clicking, scroll to the bottom and click I'm stuck — explain it differently. The AI will try a fresh explanation in a different way.

If something in the lesson looks factually wrong, let your teacher know — they can reject the lesson from their approval queue and a new one will be generated.
