What Quyz is
Quyz is an AI-powered learning platform. Teachers assign lessons. Students learn. Parents stay informed. AI does the heavy lifting.
Who can use Quyz
- Teachers — must be invited by Quyz (during beta) or subscribe to a paid plan
- Students — accounts are created by teachers only; must have a valid Google account; students under 13 require explicit school authorization
- Parents — must be invited by a teacher; access is limited to their own child's data
What you agree to
As a teacher
- Only create accounts for students you have legitimate educational responsibility for
- Review AI-generated lessons before making them available to students
- Not share your account credentials
- Notify Quyz if a student's account should be suspended or deleted
As a student
- Use Quyz for learning — not to cheat on external assignments
- Not attempt to access other students' data
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the AI system
As a parent
- Only access your own child's data
- Not share your login with others
What Quyz agrees to
- Keep student data private and secure
- Never sell student data
- Never show advertising to students
- Provide the service as described
- Give you reasonable notice before making major changes
- Respond to data requests within 5 business days
AI-generated content
Quyz uses AI to generate lesson content. We take reasonable steps to ensure quality, but:
- Teachers are responsible for reviewing and approving content before students see it
- AI can make mistakes — if you spot an error, flag it in the app
- Content is generated for educational purposes only
Every AI-generated lesson requires teacher approval before a student can see it. The AI never reaches students unreviewed.
Payment and billing
- Free plans: no payment required
- Paid plans: billed monthly or annually via Stripe
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial months — but email us and we'll work with you
- School and Enterprise plans are invoiced separately per agreement
Ending your account
Teachers can cancel at any time. Student data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, then deleted.
Schools requesting data deletion: all data purged within 30 days.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice except in cases of serious violations.
Liability
We provide Quyz as-is. We're a small company doing our best. We're not liable for interruptions in service, AI content errors (teachers review before students see it), or data loss from events outside our control.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
